ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTORS

Nature's Heart Yoga & Wellness, LLC is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) through the Yoga Alliance. Each of our yoga teachers are also Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teachers who bring experience, excitement and a passion to share yoga in the lives of others.  Our teachers are not only dedicated to our students, but also to their own self-inquiry and continuing study.

Erica Neal

Erica is a E-RYT 500, RYT 500 Registered Yoga Teacher. She received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification through elementsLife in 2016 and her 300 hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Indigo Yoga Dayton in 2017. She is also a certified in Thai Yoga Massage with over 100 hours of training. Erica has received training/certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Restorative Yoga and is also a certified Reiki Practitioner.

 

Erica became a certified Nutrition Coach in 2022 through the Nutritional Coaching Institute. She works with clients on science based nutrition coaching.

 

She has an Associates in Business Administration, a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Masters in Organizational Leadership.

Ty Baker-Baumann

Ty is a RYT 500 Registered Yoga Teacher (2020), Reiki Practitioner (2017), SEYT - Subtle Energy Yoga Therapist (2012) and MBET - Master Balance Energy Therapist. In addition, Ty has completed specialized training and/or certification in Pre/Postnatal Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Laughter Yoga Thai Yoga Massage and Reiki, along with courses in yoga philosophy and Sanskrit.  

Since completing her RYT 200, Ty has taught over 1000 hours of studio classes and private sessions in Greenville, St. Henry and Piqua, Ohio. In addition, Ty has been sharing information on pre/postnatal yoga, restorative yoga and trauma sensitive yoga as a component of several 200 hour teacher trainings at studios in West Central Ohio and Eastern Indiana.​

Also, in 2017, Ty founded The Good Stuff Foundation.  The Good Stuff Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing yoga, mindfulness techniques, and other supportive services to the underserved, under-resourced and at-risk in our communities.   If you know of or are involved in a group or organization which could benefit from these services, contact Ty!

Nanette Brawley

Nanette is a RYT 200 Registered Yoga Teacher (2016) who grew up in Greenville. She is excited to be teaching to many of her local friends.

Eileen Schulze

Eileen is a RYT 200 Registered Yoga Teacher. She particularly loves kids yoga and teaches at schools and the high school football team.

Karen Schlater

Karen Schlater lives near St Henry. She became a RYT 200 Registered Yoga Teacher in 2018 and enjoys Hatha Style Yoga. Karen is always excited to share what she has learned on her journey with Yoga! She believe in this busy world we need to slow down and take care of our Body, Mind and Spirit.

Melodie completed her RYT 200 Registered Yoga Teacher November 2018 at Nature's Heart Yoga.

Heather Brown

Heather is a certified Zumba instructor and has taught Zumba and dance for several years. She currently teaches our Cardio Dance class.
