Erica Neal, Owner & Instructor of Nature's Heart Yoga & Wellness located in Greenville, Ohio, started practicing Yoga regularly in 2014. Upon returning to Yoga after a life changing event in 2015, she decided to become a certified Yoga teacher to share Yoga with the lives of others. She received her 200 hour certification and become a Nationally Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) in August 2016 at "elementsLife" in Greenville, Ohio. She completed her 300 hour certification at Indigo Yoga Dayton in Dayon, Ohio and became a 500 hour RYT in May 2017. She has received certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga in April 2017, Restorative Yoga Certification in April 2017, as well as Reiki Master Certification in November 2017. In addition, Erica is certified in Thai Massage in August 2017 through Marisa Wolfe of Yoga del Sol Studio, New Mexico. Erica is committed to sharing the transformative practice of Yoga while also honoring here role of a student in the process. Erica teaches with a sense of enthusiasm and brings positive energy into all of her classes. Yoga has been transformative mentally, physically and spiritually, and continues as she journeys down the path of Yoga. Her personal mantra is “Choose Happiness”.
Erica is certified in Nutrition Coaching. It initially started as a personal goal for her own health and wellness, but she quickly developed a passion for teaching other women how to balance their wellness through science based nutrition within their busy lives. She studied through the Nutritional Coaching Institute.
In addition, Erica also has an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Indiana Business College (Lafayette, IN), a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Northwood University (Midland, MI) and a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN).
Erica is a wife, mother, business owner, and yogi. She began teaching Yoga in January 2016. She knew immediately she was "exactly where she was supposed to be." In Erica's spare time she loves being with her family, outside in nature, and continuing her education in the practice & lifestyle of Yoga & Wellness.
